May the 20th, 2025 – A new Croatian software company called Abysalto has brought together over 300 IT professionals and is furthering Croatia’s tech advancements.
As Poslovni Dnevnik/TI writes, the local technology industry now has yet another promising new player – the Croatian software company Abysalto. This new player on the tech scene was created by the strategic unification of the software departments of KING ICT, Omega Software and Aktivis. This consolidation brings together more than 300 IT experts under a new and entirely unique brand, with the unwavering support of the founder of the KING ICT Group.
The newly formed company specialises in the complete design, development, implementation and maintenance of business information systems. It places a special focus on the digital modernisation of the public administration and the private sector. The Croatian software company Abysalto will develop innovative solutions across crucial areas including mobility, energy, de-carbonisation, transport, tourism and agriculture, as well as the management of EU funds.
The consolidation of software capacities within the newly coined Croatian software company Abysalto brings greater operational efficiency and innovation potential. “The creation of this company is an investment in the future in which our innovative solutions enable clients to initiate positive changes that improve the daily life of their users,” said Željko Tandarić, one of the board members.
Abysalto’s board consists of three managers – Ivica Kujundžić Lujan, Željko Tandarić and Ivica Vidović. Together, the trio combine their respective rich experience in leading technological organisations and developing advanced software products.
“Establishing Abysalto enables the more efficient management of resources, a faster reaction to market changes and even better customer support. Our goal is reliable, flexible and technologically advanced solutions. Abysalto will become a synonym for quality in the IT industry,” emphasised Ivica Kujundžić Lujan.
In addition to strengthening its position here on the domestic market, the Croatian software company Abysalto has clear plans for international expansion through the opening of new offices and strategic acquisitions in other European countries, as well as across the Middle East, according to a media report.
Ivica Vidović pointed out: “With this team, knowledge and innovative approach, Abysalto is bringing freshness to the regional IT scene. Investments in research and development and consulting services will remain at the very heart of our activities. We have the knowledge and capacities to develop high end solutions not only for the domestic market, but more importantly, for the global one.”
The new Croatian software company Abysalto claims that it is especially proud of its ability to develop complex “custom-made” solutions with high added value, with full customer support and turnkey services included.
