June the 17th, 2025 – A significant investment for the largest Croatian veterinary group Vetti is on the horizon thanks to ACP.
As Poslovni Dnevnik writes, Accession Capital Partners (ACP) recently announced that its AMC V fund has agreed to provide up to 30 million euros in growth equity investment to the largest Croatian veterinary group Vetti. The move will see the group strengthen its dominant position in Croatia and across the region.
Vetti Group is otherwise majority-owned by Luxembourg-based ASEF S.C.Sp., managed by Croatian firm Provectus Capital Partners.
“This investment means a lot for the company, including further cementing the group’s leading market position. It also carries weight for its excellent management team, this sector, and last but not least – the opportunity to further expand our long-standing relationship with Provectus,” stated Marko Mitrović, a partner at ACP.
Vetti Group operates multiple clinics and veterinary practices in more than 35 locations across both Croatia and Serbia. “AMC’s investment will help us continue our market consolidation and regional expansion strategy, while investing in the best-in-class team and facilities that Vetti is already very well known for,” said Marko Galić, a partner at Provectus.
PCP is otherwise a leading independent venture capital fund in Southeastern Europe with offices in Zagreb, Bucharest and Sofia. Since 2020, PCP has been investing from ASEF through six platforms. In the second half of 2025, PCP will begin investing from PCP SEE Fund II S.C.Sp., its second fund focused on Southeastern Europe with a target size of 200 million euros. ACP Group is also investing from its fifth fund, AMC V SCA SICAV-RAIF, which closed in June 2024 at a massive 336 million euros. To date, it has made ten investments across Central Europe and has invested 60 percent of its own assets.
The largest Croatian veterinary group Vetti began its acquisitions back in March 2023. It all started with the first acquisition of the Buba veterinary clinic in the City of Zagreb. By the end of 2023, it had acquired six more companies across Zagreb, Split, Đakovo and Virovitica.
The grand opening of Buba by Vetti Group, the largest full-time private veterinary clinic in Zagreb, took place in December 2023. The group was then joined in March last year by the Split-based small animal veterinary practice SplitVet, specialising in orthopedics. Then came the ZAG-VET veterinary station from Zlatar, which consists of a small and large practice, a pharmacy and the associated Luč Zagorja animal shelter.
A mere one month later (more specifically in April last year) the Pet-Vet specialist small animal veterinary clinic from Split and the Zagreb City Veterinary Station with its clinics and pharmacies in five locations in Zagreb were also acquired. The group was then joined by a veterinary clinic in Ogulin and a veterinary clinic in Gornja Bebrina.
This year, the company also began regional expansion by acquiring Vet Planet Clinic in the Serbian capital city of Belgrade. With this expansion, the largest Croatian veterinary group Vetti now boasts eighteen members, over 300 employees and 30 locations across the Republic of Croatia and the immediate region.
Vetti ended 2024 with impressive revenues of 3.07 million euros, representative of an increase of 61.23 percent compared to 2023, according to data held by Fina. Vetti also increased its number of employees in Croatia in 2024, recording 77 employees.
