The exceptional position of Molum Hotel and Residences near Zadar makes it the perfect choice for guests on the hunt for a combination of natural beauty, zen and an authentic Mediterranean experience.

Even the name Molum itself is inspired by the historical roots of this location. This subtle interweaving of local history and a splash of modernity is the guiding thread of the entire concept of the resort. This leads from its very design and facilities to the atmosphere. It is overlooking the glorious Adriatic Sea, buried in the heart of a small local community, and yet offers world-class service. Molum Hotel and Residences positions Sveti Filip i Jakov, as well as the Zadar area, as a new centre for high-level accommodation and services on the Croatian coast.

expectations exist to be exceeded

“From the very beginning of this construction project, we wanted to bring the highest standards of comfort, design and accompanying activities to Sveti Filip i Jakov. We’ve always been guided by the philosophy that expectations exist to be exceeded. As such, this resort offers facilities for all sorts of guest profiles, including a fantastic gourmet offer, rich spa and wellness facilities, and a playroom for the youngest guests. The marina in the immediate vicinity of the resort is a special added value, both for our guests and for the entire destination,” revealed Dino Sokol, CEO of Molum Hotel and Residences.

Located on more than 25,000 m² of outdoor areas and 12,000 m² of buildings, Molum Hotel and Residences includes six elegantly designed buildings with a total of 60 rooms and 60 residences. It’s an investment by the Sunčani Resort company, owned by the Andabak family, who are well known for numerous successful hotel and tourism projects throughout Croatia. As part of this massive project, the first phase of the Molum Marine Club port will soon open next to the resort. In addition, the owners are currently preparing to open the second phase for next season, which will create even more content for nautical tourists.

an ode to the mediterranean

The design story of the resort bears the signature of the Velinda Design studio, led by Velinda Ljubičić. Her team created a recognisable visual identity of this space. Despite all of the modernity, it is very warm, contemporary and inspired by the local nature. All of that was achieved with the use of natural materials such as wood, jute and stone, as well as rich horticulture that gives the space the character of a luxurious Mediterranean garden. Molum’s gardens are full of are indigenous plants and relaxation corners that form an oasis integrated into the resort’s surroundings. The interiors are also designed to encourage spontaneity and relaxation.

high quality when it comes to gastronomy

High end gastronomy, along with an impressive design and offer, is one of the important pillars of Molum’s identity. The Maisa restaurant concept is based on modern Mediterranean cuisine and local seasonal ingredients, sourced from local OPGs (family farms). A new coffee shop called Moka is also opening as part of Molum very soon, which will become the perfect location for speciality coffee and light snacks to take away.

Molum’s guests can also enjoy a diverse entertainment programme throughout the tourist season. Weekly activities include yoga, fitness sessions, wine tastings, musical evenings and various themed events. The youngest guests can have fun in the kids’ club with animation, a disco, a cinema and plenty of interactive games. A special gem is the Noku spa with various saunas, a whirlpool, massages and an array of different treatments. The offer of additional facilities is completed by two outdoor heated pools, a children’s pool, the Mur pool bar and pebble beach a mere 150 metres from the resort.
